Gongs of the Central Highlands
The Central Highlands’ Gong instruments formed into sets. Each set is a musical allotment with a close system of sound. Each set of Gongs consists of 3 or 15 of gongs together with drums and cymbals. As the part of a musical allotment mentioned above, Gongs reflect an efficiency of excellent sound. Furthermore in the co-ordinative-synchronous performance that the natives call “competition” of Gongs. Hence, these musical instruments mobilized in a majestic space of Highland forests. Gongs music caused everybody tremulously, attracted most of the generation and they are also admired by legendary long-poems.

Festivals in Daklak province and in the Central highlands
When H’lung tree at the beginning of village and Thap tree in the heart of village beaming buttons that is the time for boys and girls of the Highlands to wear their the most beautiful dresses, tunicas, loin-cloths to attend jubilant festival days. Those are traditional festival days on the Highlands.
In annual December, after harvesting, it is the occasion for the natives giving harvest festival that the Edeh call Mnam Thun but the M’nong call Mham Bar, Bri rhair. The festival longthens for months, from house to house in the village under the certain order negotiated by the villagers in advance. Each family slaughter buffalo or pig depending on their cases. This is the time for villagers in inviting their relatives and others to come to the party. Therein, there are the thanks-giving for Rice-God and their ancestors, the pray for health of the family and himself. They play the Gongs, the drums, and bamboo-instruments and sing overnight.

Dak Tuar grotto - a historic revolutionary vestige in Krong Bong district
Dak Tuar grotto, 6km from the heart of Cu Pui hamlet (Krong Bong district), lay at Dak Tuar falls.
During the war against American Empire, Dak Tuar grotto used to be the Base of DakLak Party committee and regular military troops of the province. Thanks to the inaccessible terrain. They chose the grotto “The headquarters” to lead people for Resistance. The American had tried to bomb, to mop-up over and over in order to clear up to base, but they always got clinker. In May 1965, at Dak Tuar, DakLak Party committee led ethnic minorities of H9 area on the East of the province, this land now belonging to Krong Bong District. From this Revolutionary base, DakLak Party committee continually led our people and troop in resistance to liberate BuonMaThuot on March 10th, 1975, to raise the curtain for the great victory in the spring 1975 over the South of Viet Nam for reunifying the country.

Thuy Tien waterfall
It is about 7km from the heart of Tam Giang hamlet (Krong Nang District) to the North-east, Thuy Tien waterfall, a well-known landscape, possesses a poetic beauty impressing deeply in visitor’s soul. Coming to this place, visitors will enjoy the sound of murmurous spring in wide-majestic forest. From top of the falls, the water is pouring as a force-full picture of the Highland sight.

Krong Kmar waterfall
Going upstream to the Cu Yang Sin range, 3km from the heart of Krong Bong district, you will run into a beautiful landscape of Daklak - Krong Kmar falls. Originating from the highest top of majestic Cu Yang Sin range seems as the roof of the Highlands. Krong Kmar spring is pouring down to the foot of mountain forming Krong Kmar falls with a wild and poetic appearance. If anybody comes once, he would remember it forever.

Jun village - an landscape of ancient villages on the Highlands
Located by fresh and poetic Lak Lake with fresh and poem, Jun Village gains a natural and gentle feature of Highland villages. Belonging to Lien Son Town let (Lak District), Jun Village is still as a young girl of mountains, always keeps her various custom, preserved by generation to generation.

Yok Don Nation Park
For quite along time now, when tourists come to DakLak, they usually go to Buon Don. This is the very land possessing a large area of preserving nature environment, including Yok Don National Park: This is the biggest National park has an area of 58.200 hectares without mention about 10.000 hectares of surrounding zone.
Yok Don Nation Park gains so many interesting things there, attracting tourists as well as researchers come to study of diversification and unique of natural sources. Those thick and interminable forests on Highland with characteristics of tropical forests in the Southern-east Asia. According to the first investigation that the Park possesses 464 floras of which majority of Michelia. In the dry season, the Sun shines intolerantly but this place is still cool as the land of fog-Da Lat and Orchid are still fine perfume.

Dray Nur water falls
Located about 25 km from the center of Buonmathuot city on the South, Dray Nur waterfall is the most impressive waterfall in the Central highlands. Dray Nur waterfall is a combination of 2 rivers named Krong Ana (female river) and Krong No (male river), these mix each other creating the legendary Serepok river in the Central highlands. Dray Nur water fall has over 250 meters of length and 30 meters of height, linking two banks of Daklak and DakNong provinces.
